Onam is an important festival of Kerala.Every Malayalee around the world celebrate the coming of the just and righteous King Mahabali on his permitted annual visit to Kerala.It is believed that the King Mahabali visits his subjects on Thiruvonam day.Foreign tourists at Fort Kochi laid flower carpets (Pookalam) and took out a procession with the traditional drums and horns.They were served a Traditional (thali Veg meal ) ONASADYA on a banana leaf.Thus celebrating the essence of Onam.This news is brought to you by Joseph Martin,senior Media News correspondent,Kochi,India
